2013 Show Packet and Entry Forms
Where:  Sherman County Fairgrounds  Moro, Oregon  
Driving Directions to the Fairgrounds:
Moro is located approximately 2 hours East of Portland.  Follow I-84 to US-97.
Take exit 104 to Yakima/Bend.  Turn right, toward Bend and stay on US-97 for
17.9 miles to the center of Moro.  Turn East at the FAIRGROUNDS sign.  The
fairgrounds are 1 mile off US-97 and you will be entering the facility at the
upper gate.

Arrival Info:
Check in between 12 and 8 pm on May 17th. Entries will be accepted until the
beginning of the first Show on May 18th. Goats will be health-checked as they
are unloaded. Once trucks are unloaded it would be appreciated if you would
move your rig so someone else can move into position. Pen assignments will
be clearly posted but there will also be assistants to help you unload and find
your area. Beddding will be provided @ ½ bale per pen.  If you have a barn
preference, please request that on your entry form.  All requests will try to be
honored.


Health Checks:
Goats must be health checked as they are unloaded, and no goat will be
allowed to unload if exhibiting signs of contagious disease, external parasites,
ringworm, or abscesses.   Any abscess site must be haired over.

Camping:  Camping is available
on the fairgrounds. Dry camping
fees are $20 for the weekend. RV
camping with full hookup is $16 per
night.  RV fees are paid to the RV
campground directly. No
dogs allowed in the barns unless
by prior arrangement with show
staff.
Both shows are ABGA sanctioned andABGA rules shall
govern.

Registration: Animals entered into the ABGA shows must be registered with the
ABGA
. No other registration papers will be accepted per ABGA rules.  Original
registration certificates must be presented at check-in  for any animal over 3mo old.
Stamped received copies of applications for animals under 3mo old will be
accepted.  Owners are responsible for ensuring their animals have legible tattoos;
the judge will be the final determinant of legibility and reserves the right to dismiss
any animal for lack of a legible tattoo per ABGA rule


Awards:  The ABGA will provide Ribbons and Rosettes for all shows.  
Ribbons through fifth place, Rosettes and Special Awards for Grand and
Reserve Champions, Rosettes and Special Awards for Best % Doe of
Show, Best FB/PB Doe of Show, Best Buck of Show.  See a listing of the

Chuck Wagon Barbeque Dinner and Barn Dance Saturday evening after
the show and seminar.  Dinner is  $5 per person.  There will be keg there for
adult members that wish to participate.

All donations to the Raffle
are greatly appreciated.
Entries: Fees must accompany entries.  Entries and/or substitutions are
allowed up until show time but there are no refunds. The show hosts reserve the
right to close any or all of the ABGA shows to entries at any point prior to the
show due to pen space or number of entries. If the show has not been closed
by the show hosts, entries can be made until 9 am for each days’ ABGA
shows. Substitutions will be allowed until 9 am of each day also. There is no
late fee but late entries will not be posted in the program.
